Exciting Funding Announcement!
New Projects Incoming...
Exciting news from MPYT! We’ve been awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund!
This enables us to run our regular workshops with all our MPYT groups until Spring next year, plus doing loads of outreach workshops with young people in the local community.
Our plans include:
- 40 workshops for Little and Big MPYT at Celf O Gwmpas.
- 30 workshops in the wider local community: we'll be visiting community centres, after-school clubs and youth groups.
- Mentoring sessions for young people: with experienced leaders, focusing on personal growth and professional development.
- As well as covering our management and marketing costs, ensuring effective operations and outreach.
Stronger than Ever...
We’re also immensely grateful to have recieved support from the Arts Council of Wales Resilience Funds. This will cover our core costs, at least for a while...
- Our Co-ordinator, Director and Producer roles.
- Leader training workshops led by Bethan Dear.
- Trainee stipends – to support our Trainee Facilitators on the MPYT+ Programme.
- Venue and office hire in Celf O Gwmpas until the end of June.
This gives us the necessary time and space to develop and fundraise for some groovy new projects...
