Big MPYT is back next week!
Big MPYT is back with rehearsals for Rumpelstiltskin 2026.
From 1st September, rehearsals will be in full swing - but it's not too late to get involved!
If you're age 14-24 and love playing a musical instrument, singing, acting, or all three - we want you to get involved in our show at the Wyeside. We're specifically looking for talented or enthusiastic young musicians to form part of a little wandering band onstage.
Remember, we also love people who want to get involved backstage - from costume to lighting, sound, design, set building, stage management. If you want to have a go - we have a role for you, and professionals to mentor you through it.
When you'll need to be available:
Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings from 1st September + Half term week
Show week: 2nd-8th November 2026
Additional Rehearsals: There will also be additional rehearsals on Thursday evenings and Saturdays, which you can join depending on your availability.
If you haven't done a MPYT show before, it's like nothing you've known! Hard work for sure - you'll be very busy! But something you'll talk about for a long time (ie: the rest of your lives); a ridiculous amount of fun, skills-learning (without even knowing it), new friendships and hard-won pride.
